Jennifer is an experienced civil litigation attorney and a shareholder of Lewis, Reed & Allen, P.C. Prior to joining the firm, she was associated with a private firm in New York City and represented private and public clients in a variety of civil litigation matters in State and Federal courts, administrative proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution forums. Her areas of practice include professional liability, employment litigation and counseling, employment and labor law, construction and product defect, mass tort and toxic tort, state and local taxation, and land use. Since 2014, Jennifer has been recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in the area of Civil Litigation.

Jennifer is a member of the American Bar Association and Kalamazoo County Bar Association, and has practiced before the State, Federal, and appellate courts of New York, New Jersey, and Michigan. Recently, she has also appeared pro hac vice before the Missouri State Tax Commission and is in the process of applying for admission to the State Bar of Missouri. 

Jennifer believes in community engagement.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Gryphon Place, which helps those in conflict and crisis, and volunteers as a pro bono attorney with Michigan Immigrant Rights Center. She has also worked with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of New York City, College Summit, Minds Matter NYC, and New York Cares.
